The hero married the heroine with the intention of using her as a substitute for his ex-girlfriend, without the heroine’s knowledge. When his ex-girlfriend returned, the hero kicked the heroine out and divorced her. The hero and his ex-girlfriend then acted all lovey-dovey. When the ex-girlfriend bullied the heroine, the hero sided with his sweetheart. The heroine drifted far away from the hero and got close to the secondary male lead. After the hero learned about the misdeeds of his sweetheart, he gradually realized that he loved his ex-wife, and tried every means to win her back. The heroine, however, did not believe his sincerity. She thought that he hadn’t figured out his true feelings and was using her to make up for his past regrets. As the hero proved his sincerity with actions, the couple got to know each other better and finally remarried.
