Elle Picard’s parents once saved Harry Warner’s father’s life, leading to an arranged marriage between Elle and Harry during their childhood. Before falling ill, Harry’s father insisted on their marriage, hoping it would bring good luck and aid his recovery. Feeling pressured, Harry reluctantly married Elle. Elle had a neighbor who became paralyzed while saving her, and she needed money for his treatment, prompting her to agree to the marriage. After the wedding, she discovered that Harry had a lover. This person had once saved Harry, but due to his father’s disapproval, Harry had to marry Elle without breaking up with his lover. Unbeknownst to Harry, it was actually Elle who had saved him. Despite various misunderstandings and twists, Harry and Elle eventually married. Harry mistakenly believed that Elle liked the paralyzed neighbor and married him only for money. Once the misunderstandings were cleared, he realized he had fallen in love with Elle. After many trials, they finally ended up together.
